BREAST CANCER NOW PARTNERSHIP

The partnership

Fenjal is proud to announce our charity partnership with leading research and support charity, Breast Cancer Now. This year we have donated £50,000 to Breast Cancer Now, to help fund life-changing breast cancer research and provide support for those who need it. Alongside our donation, we’ll be sharing important awareness around breast health, and making sure everyone knows the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

About Breast Cancer Now

Every 10 minutes, someone is diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK. That’s around 55,000 women and 400 men every year. While breast cancer survival rates have doubled in the last 40 years, more people than ever are being diagnosed every year. Breast Cancer Now are the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. They have a bold vision – that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives – and be supported to live well. But they can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re so proud of this partnership.

How our money could help

£50,000 could help over 1,600 people affected by breast cancer get vital answers by calling our free helpline. No question is too big or too small, and all calls are answered by breast care nurses and trained staff.

£50,000 could keep the Breast Cancer Now Tissue Bank open for a whole month. It’s full of samples of breast cancer tissue and it’s a crucial resource for our researchers. Using real tissue, they can make breakthroughs faster and find new ways to prevent and treat breast cancer, to stop the disease from taking lives.

£50,000 could pay for 500 people to go to Living with Secondary Breast Cancer. These group sessions are a space for people with incurable secondary breast cancer. They’ll get expert information and meet other people going through the same thing.

Fundraising

A team of 18 of us recently completed an epic outdoor challenge, where we went hiking, abseiling, scrambling and canyoning, to support life-changing research and support services for people living with breast cancer. We had so much fun, and raised as much money as we could for Breast Cancer Now. If you’d like to help us raise more money, please feel free to use the link below
